When I bred Flirt to Cobb, I knew I wanted to keep a Flirt daughter. I had no intentions of keeping a male puppy. But when Gretzky was born, I was attracted to him instantly. After all, he was the first puppy I had ever bred. When he was born he was such a dark red that we thought he was a black tri. What a surprise when we wiped him off and realized he wasn't black, but a red boy! He was the pup that caught everyone's eye and as he grew, it was evident that he had the personality to go with his magnetism. So, I caved in and decided to keep Gretzky in my breeding program. Gretzky is now living with our good friend Ginnette who was as smitten with this boy as we were. We look forward to watching him grow and having him out in the conformation ring later in 2008!
